On Sunday, September 14, a service of Parish Communion and Holy Baptism will be celebrated at 9.30am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome.

On September 19, Flicks in the Sticks return to Bosbury Parish Hall. The Autumn/Winter season opens with the film The Monuments Men (12A), based on the true story of the greatest treasure hunt in history. The film is an action drama focusing on an unlikely Second World War platoon, tasked by FDR with going into Germany to rescue artistic masterpieces from Nazi thieves and returning them to their rightful owners.

Stars include George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville and Cate Blanchett. Tickets are £4.50 for adults, £2.50 for children. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start. Homemade ice cream, wine and nibbles will be available on the night.

The next Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday, September 20, between 10.30am and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. New seasonal producers are welcome, space permitting.
