TODAY, Friday, it’s the Friends of Link Nurseries Coffee Morning at 10am with a talk and a chance to see many of the different varieties of tomato grown on the nurseries.
Next Friday, September 19 Powick Ramblers meet at 10am at the Plume of Feathers, Castlemorton, WR13 6IB, for a five mile walk around the village with a few stiles and muddy patches! The leaders are Hillary and Ian (01684 562305).
Tomorrow, Saturday, Powick Church will be open from 10am to 5pm to coincide with the Ride and Stride sponsored event organised by the Worcestershire and Dudley Historic Churches Trust. Stewards will be on hand to welcome and provide refreshment. Do look out for cyclists and walkers around the village.
Next Saturday, September 20 a Soup and Roll event will be held in Powick Church from 10am to 2pm with donations also to the historic Churches Trust. All are welcome to come and chat and to view the church.
On Sunday there will be a Celtic Healing service at 11am
