WHAT an amazing evening on Saturday, August 2 and our sincere thanks to the Suzuki musicians, accompanists and all the teachers who worked so incredibly hard to produce it.

The instruments sounded so perfectly pure as the programme of Bach, Handel and folk songs produced such a joyful sound as even more musicians than last year filled our Church . It is a remarkable method of learning and brings the musicians together from all over England and Europe, a truly international way of communicating and communicate they did, the happiest of sounds on a summer evening swelling to the rafters. Such musical talent all in one building.

Grateful thanks also to the very generous audience who donated £260 for our roof fund.

And a reminder that tomorrow, Saturday, August 9 we would really like you to join us for our Community Barbecue Garden Party in the grounds of the Malvern St James Edinburgh Gardens. There will be live music from Lounge Toad and, of course, food.

Tickets are £3 or £10 for a family of four which will include a filled roll of your choice burger or sausage) veggie alternative as well and a drink (either alcoholic or non-alcoholic).

So, we will be starting at 5pm through until 8pm and enjoying a summer evening in lovely surroundings.

It would be easier for us if you could reserve tickets on 07756 722 426 but please still do turn up if you haven’t, we would love to see you.
