THE last meeting held on Tuesday began with the usual notices, and then members were given a talk by a lady called Sandy Cole, a blue Coat Guide of Worcester.
She spoke of the Battle of Worcester, which she made as humorous as she could with lots of anecdotes (but not the nasty battle) about King Charles 11 and his great escape from Worcester to France.
It was all very interesting and members felt that they should all go to visit the many places of interest that she mentioned.
Members were reminded that the Hanley Swan open gardens are on the first Bank Holiday in May, and hope all will be there.
The next meeting is on May 13 and will be the AGM and Resolutions.
