MALVERN WI met on Thursday, April 3 at in the Upper Hall Holy Trinity Church, Link Top
Apologies were given by several members, and members learnt that one member, Brenda, had been taken ill and was in hospital, we all wish her a very speedy recovery.
Matters arising included news that three members would be attending the forthcoming Resolutions Meeting and four members would be going to the New Speakers Meeting. The calender for 2015 was displayed for all to see. Members were reminded that the May meeting will be the AGM where the chosen resolution will be debated and voted upon.
Sadly the speaker for the afternoon was unable to attend due to ill health, so a Beetle Drive followed by a quiz took place instead. Everyone had a fun afternoon.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, May 1.
