THROUGHOUT this Easter weekend there are services and events at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. Today, Good Friday, from 10am there is a Children’s Workshop. Tomorrow, April 19, at 8pm there will be an Easter Vigil. Parish Communion, a modern service using contemporary language and music, will be celebrated at 9.30am on Easter Day, April 20. All are welcome.

Tickets are still available for the Fashion Show to be held at Bosbury Parish Hall on Thursday, April 24. Opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, the show will feature the Spring and Summer Collections of Isaacs of Ledbury, Charisma Lingerie and Renaissance Menswear. The next Flicks in the Sticks, on Friday, April 25, will be Philomena (12A) starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan. Homemade ice cream, wine and nibbles will be available on the night. Entrance is £4.50 for adults and £2.50 for children. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

The next Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be on Saturday, March 15, between 10.30 and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. New stalls are always welcome, space permitting. To take a stall you need to pre-book by calling Rhinedd Krinks (01531 640076) or Liz Clutterbuck (01531 640415).

The annual Bosbury Bluebell Walk is, once again, being hosted by Nat and Laura Hone at Bosbury House on Monday, May 5 from 2pm to 5pm. In the grounds there will be a display of classic cars, treasure hunt, live music, plant stall and, most importantly, afternoon tea with homemade cakes will be served. Admission is £5, accompanied children under 16 free.
