MALVERN HILLS Food Bank were delighted to hear, this week, that they are to receive a very generous donation from Malvern Hills Round Table.

Rhys Humm and a group from the Round Table organised a highly successful Gangsters and Molls Ball in March at Malvern College with the intention of giving the proceeds to the Food Bank.

Rhys has just informed the Trustees of the Food Bank that they are to receive £2,000 from this event!

Chris Bray (Chairman of the Malvern Hills Food Bank) says, “On behalf of all the Trustees and Volunteers I would like to say how grateful we are to receive this large financial donation from Malvern Hills Round Table. It will be used for essential structural work within the warehouse and for ‘topping up’ our food stocks when there is a shortfall of certain items from our regular donations.

We will look forward to welcoming representatives from Malvern Hills Round Table to the Food Bank in the very near future”.
