VISITORS are always welcome on the first Monday of the month at Colwall Village Hall. We meet for 7.30pm when there is a talk given by a person well versed in their speciality. Arrive early, meet the members and enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee.
Monday, April 7 we welcome Clive Bevan, a specialist grower of vegetables for exhibition and giant veg competition.
Come early to make/meet friends and discuss your gardening interests (and challenges). We have many experienced and knowledgeable gardeners who are happy to answer questions. Subscriptions, payable in January, are £12; visitors are charged £4.
Also, this meeting is The Michael Jefferson-Brown Competition. This is a members only competition for spring flowering bulbs, corms or tubers; either pot or container grown or as cut flowers. Come and view the challengers!
At our March meeting we had a most humorous and informative presentation from Thomas Sanday on How To Be A Rose Expert. This month learn from Clive how to grow to WIN.
