THE future of a disused pub in West Malvern will be on the agenda when the parish council meets this week.
The Lamb, West Malvern Road, has been closed for about 18 months, and developer Peter Styles has now put in two planning applications for the premises.
One application is to keep part of the existing pub as licensed premises, and to create three houses.
The other would see the whole pub converted to housing.
Now the plans will be discussed tonight when West Malvern Parish Council meets at 7.30 pm in the village hall.
It is hoped that representatives of the architects Boughton Butler will be at the meeting.
The pub was for many years a live music venue, and musicians and music fans have called for it to be retained as a pub.
The local Campaign for Real Ale group also wants it reopened.
But some residents living near the site are pleased it has closed, after complaints of noise and antisocial behaviour.
