ENTRIES for the annual Malvern Joggers’ 10k race are now open.
This will be the fourth time the Joggers will host the scenic, multi-terrain event, which is open to runners of all levels of ability.
Applicant numbers have soared since the race began, with 297 runners crossing the finish line last year. Chairman of Malvern Joggers Stuart Brown hopes to make 300 this year. He said: “We are so lucky to have the Malvern Hills as our running backdrop and we want to show them off.
Last year we had runners from all over the country.
“We look forward to welcoming familiar and new faces.”
The run will begin at 7.30pm on Wednesday and registration will take place at Welland Village Hall.
Castlemorton Common will be the starting and finishing point for the race and the course covers a variety of terrain, including tracks, footpaths and fields.
Any profit will be donated to St Richard’s Hospice. To register, go to malvernjoggers.co.uk.
