IT’S a shame everyone has to criticise the hard work of the county council on the Hanley Road improvements.
But did they ever walked along that road before?
The path was so close to the road in places you almost got clipped by cars.
In times of wet weather you had to make sure you had wellies, as the path would turn to mud.
Now, it’s fantastic. You can walk, run, or even take a pushchair along there.
Seeing that the post office in Malvern Wells is not open all the time, its great that you can walk to the post office in Hanley Swan where Ros always greets you with a smile.
There is enough room for vehicles to pass on the road, and subsidence on the side with the ditch will not be so bad as there is now a kerb to keep the tarmac in place.
Would all the previous correspondents prefer we drive everywhere and dont even consider walking around.

Malvern Wells
