FOR the past seven or eight years a team of local people have gone to Thailand annually to help Hands, a charity supporting displaced and vulnerable hill tribe communities in the north of the country.
This year’s team of 14, with ages ranging from 13 to 76, spent two weeks engaged in activities with the children in two different centres and in one local school, including twoand- a-half days redecorating the girls’ dormitories.
A presentation evening was held recently to update supporters.
Anyone who missed that event is welcome to come to the next meeting of Malvern Disabled Christians Fellowship tomorrow (Saturday), when some of the team will be present and will be talking about the trip.
