INTREPID scouts from Malvern spent nearly 20 hours walking through the night to complete a 36-mile stretch of the Worcestershire Way.

Six scouts aged 13, from 1st Malvern Scout Group along with one young leader and two leaders walked from Bewdley to their HQ on Dukes Way, Malvern.

The walk start at 1.45pm and the scouts were each given a section of the route to navigate – some through the night.

The team arrived at HQ just after 8am on the Sunday morning where they were greeted by friends and family.

John Hockney, of Malvern Scout group, said: “As far as I know they are the youngest group to do the walk and the only ones to do it overnight.”
