COLOUR Circle, a recently-formed group of three local artists, is holding its first exhibition in Malvern Library's gallery, starting tomorrow (Saturday).
The exhibition, Spectrum, consists of paintings and drawings by Maureen Krechting, Polly Hamlet and Gwynn-fyl Lowe reflecting some of their favourite subjects.
All three artists have exhibited either solo or in group shows. Maureen is taking part in the h.Art exhibition this month, during which she will be opening up her studio in Ledbury. She has exhibited in the South East as well as locally.
Gwynn-fyl, from Malvern, was artist-in-residence at the Greyfriars, the National Trust Property in Worcester, for a year-long project, which culminated in a show there in June. And Polly, also from Malvern, had a show at the Malvern Hills Gallery recently.
The three met through their painting activities and are looking forward to the joint exhibition. Gwynn-fyl works in a variety of media, while Maureen and Polly mainly use watercolours. Spectrum is on until September 23 and is open during normal library hours.
