APRIL'S meeting was held on April 12. Business dealt with, various items discussed and an outing arranged for June.
A toast was drunk to William and Kate on their forthcoming marriage and flags, bunting and flowers decorated the room.
Parkway will again keep the flower beds at the railway station up to scratch.
The speaker was Julia Bouston on De-cluttering. Telling members how to get rid of surplus items in the home etc. She was thanked by Pat.
After refreshments the afternoon finished with a light hearted quiz.
Next meeting on May 10 at the Baptist Church rooms at 2pm when the 2011 Resolutions will be discussed. Visitors welcome.
