CATHERINE Cookson had better watch out! Well perhaps not, but at the meeting held on Thursday, February 3, the speaker, Betty Mould, certainly fuelled members' enthusiasm to try their hand at writing the odd short story, letter or advice on household tasks for pleasure and maybe profit.
Even if we never aspire to such dizzy heights, her very interesting and extremely amusing talk, made it all seem so much fun. Maybe we do have a hidden author amongst the members, only time will tell.
At the next meeting, which will be held at St.Andrews Church Hall, on Thursday, March 3 at 7.30pm, secretary, Stella Hewett, together with the only male member, her dog Jenson, will talk about having a Canine Partner. If you would like to know more, come along and join us. Visitors are always welcome.
