LAST Saturday, December 4, there was an Auction of Promises at Redmarley Village Hall.
The event started with a delicious meal after which the auctioneer Clive Roads started the auction. The lots were many and varied and created much interest amongst those present. In spite of there being fewer people attending, the atmosphere was good and £1,014 was raised for the Village Hall Funds. A splendid evening!
Many thanks to the organisers, all who gave promises, the cooks and helpers and of course the auctioneer.
