A ‘FESTIVAL of Learning’ went ahead at Malvern Library despite this week’s adverse weather.
The event invited Malvern residents to welcome in the new year by learning new skills. Demonstrations were scheduled to take place in cookery, food hygiene, sign language, baby massage, family history, drawing and painting and many other skills and hobbies.
Guy Unwin, who made a successful appearance on popular TV show Dragon’s Den, joined his colleagues from Malvern Inventors Club to highlight opportunities available with them.
Manager Delphine Telfer said the library was delighted to be able to provide a chance for residents to learn more about new activities and skills.
“The New Year is often a good time for people to want to try new things and we hope this event will help convince them that opportunities are available in the local area,” she said.
