THERE is something for everyone on Friday, November 13 in the village! In the Village Hall, there is the monthly meeting of the Welland Arts and Crafts commencing at 7.30 pm and features a practical evening on glass painting. Whilst at the Pheasant Inn, commencing at 7pm, there is a Ferret Race Night in aid of the Hook Church. Tickets for the Race Night are £5 per adult (includes supper) and £2.50 for under 11s. Welland brownies will be holding their Christmas Fayre in the Village Hall on Wednesday, November 18 at 6.30pm. Stalls, games and refreshments will be available. All proceeds to the Lymphoma Association and Water Aid.

Thursday, November 19 at the Anchor, Drake Street, Welland sees questions like ‘what can a parent do?’ being addressed. Come to a free Pops 4 Moms taster session (10am-noon). St James Annual Bumper Christmas Craft Fair will be held over the weekend of November 21 and 22 between 10am and 3pm in the Church.
