I WAS dismayed at reading a letter from Chris Ridler in the Ledbury Reporter of November 6.
Who identified Queens Walk Gardens as a suitable piece of land to install a car park?
Queens Walk is a small open space enjoyed by many, young and old, a little parcel of land that should be cherished not covered in tarmacadam.
It would make sense to utilise the space available in the present car park by erecting another level, thereby doubling the capacity for parking.
We should ask the Council if they hold the deeds to Queens Walk land as they do not own the approach roads.
