On Saturday, November 14, at 7.30pm in Malvern Theatres, Malvern Festival Chorus is performing a concert of Mozart’s music along with a concerto for flute and oboe by his contemporary, Salieri.
Lucy Adams will be the solo flautist for the Salieri and solo oboe player is Graeme Adams. The chorus is singing the C minor Mass in the second half of the concert.
This work was first performed in 1783 in Salzburg with Mozart’s wife Constanze taking one of the soprano solo parts.
Soloists for this concert are Nicola-Jane Kemp (soprano), Clare McCaldin (mezzo-soprano), Martin Hindmarsh (tenor), and Niall Hoskin (bass). Tickets are £14 (concessions £12).
