NEWTOWN continued their impressive start to the season with another sparkling performance against Evesham.
Three early goals rocked the visitors but they thought back to force Dickenson to make a number of fine saves. The Robins eventually scored with an impressive effort shortly before half- time. Evesham continued to raise their game in the second half and created a number of chances but were denied by some determined defencive effort from McCullough and Rodway. Newtown continued to hit the Robins on the break with quick flowing passing movements and added to their tally, while Wickett went close to scoring his first of the season.
Goalscorers for Newtown were Bray (two), Senter (two), Dickenson, Hill and Smith
