Almost 300 chocolate eggs were found in a leading estate agent's Easter egg hunt.

The event, held on Good Friday, March 29 at Droitwich Cricket Club, was a collaboration between top Worcestershire estate agency Nicol & Co and Mindful Financial Planning.

Despite beginning with just 50 children, the turnout quickly rose, with 214 collecting cards distributed within the first two hours – an increase from last year's event.

By the end of the day, 294 Easter eggs were found and 'won' - twice the number given away at the same event in 2023.

Martyn Davies of Mindful Financial Planning, who also chairs Droitwich Cricket Club, said: "What a great day we had as hundreds of families with young children enjoyed themselves.

"We're delighted to get involved for the second year running with our great partners at Nicol & Co, and we look forward to making it a hat-trick next year."

Matt Nicol, managing director of Nicol & Co, said: "It was fantastic to see so many people out and about enjoying the good weather and celebrating Easter by winning delicious chocolate eggs.

"Nicol & Co always enjoys being active in events like this which help to bring the wider community together."

The estate agent's next community event, 'The Big Worcestershire Garage Sale', is scheduled for Saturday 8 June.
