From a production of one of William Shakespeare's finest works to the performance of an accomplished pianist and vocalist, there's lots coming up in Malvern over the next week.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Shakespeare’s timeless classic, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, is set to be brought to life in a new production at Malvern Theatres.

Led by clown Tweedy, the show promises a night of magic, mischief and mayhem on Saturday (April 6).

The cast will transport you to the mystical realm of Athens to meet the group of distinctive characters.

The production will be hosted by the Festival Theatre at 7pm.

The White Piano Show starring Steve Wicketts

Accomplished pianist and vocalist Steve Wicketts, is set to serenade attendees with his White Piano Show.

Having performed at a variety of venues across the UK, including at the Theatre Royal at Windsor, Wicketts' will show off his musical versatility with a performance primarily comprised of rock n roll tunes, with a few pop, reggae and country songs also in the mix.

The entertainer, renowned for his charisma and larger than life personality, is said to "combine the wild piano playing of Jerry Lee Lewis with the vocal energy of Elvis Presley".

Wicketts will perform at the Malvern Cube at 7pm on Saturday.

Sleuth

From Monday (April 8) to the following Saturday (April 13), Anthony Shaffer’s masterpiece, Sleuth, will reside at Malvern Theatres.

Todd Boyce, who plays Coronation Street's infamous villain Stephen Reid, and Neil McDermott, of Eastenders and The Royal, will star in the "thriller about thrillers" that "promises to baffle even the most proficient sleuth".

The story unfolds as a young man arrives at a renowned mystery writer's home, leading to a suspenseful plot packed with manipulation, conflict and jealousy.

Running for 12 years on the stages of both London and New York, the Tony award-winning play serves as inspiration for a successful movie starring Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine, this play promises to keep audiences hooked.
