Malvern Male Voice Choir is searching for new recruits at its open rehearsals next week.

The choir, which is currently in its 102nd years, is celebrated for its diverse repertoire, which it has performed to a variety of audiences under the leadership of musical director, Charles Pavey.

The choir encourages singers of all ages and abilities, and from Tenors to Basses to experience the benefit of group singing, which medical research has indicated promotes mental and physical wellness.

The choir has have enjoyed success, hitting the airwaves in the festive season in a two-hour Christmas Special with BBC Hereford & Worcester.

Experienced singers are encouraged to join just as much as those who have never sung before, with novice singers receiving support from more accomplished members during the light-hearted, yet focused, rehearsals on Monday nights.

The choir offers an open rehearsal for potential new singers at Holy Trinity Church in Malvern Link Top, on Monday, January 29, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Attendees can enjoy free mid-rehearsal refreshments at the half-time interval.
