A Suckley musician and his band, The Retros, will host a swinging party night in Malvern next month.
Paul Aitken, a familiar voice and guitarist in the area's music scene, is set to drum his heart out at The Cube on Saturday, February 24.
Having performed as a soloist at venues including the Suckley BFG and The Hop Shed, this event sees Mr Aitken return to his passion: playing drums.

His diverse career has included a stint with a young Sir Simon Rattle, a hit single with 'The Banned', appearances on Top of the Pops and Never Mind the Buzzcocks and even some work with Dire Straits.
The Retros, an ensemble with over 30 years experience entertaining at grand parties and corporate events, boasts a refreshed lineup which debuted in Priory Park last summer with a rock and blues set.
Fellow musicians Dik Cadbury, Steve Degutis, and Tony Meacock, accompany Mr Aitken, with each member boasting an impressive musical history.
The bar opens at 7:30pm, with emerging Worcestershire talent Harry Graydon among the event's special guests.
Tickets can be purchased directly by contacting Mr Aitken on 07966 282550 or via The Cube's event page (www.malverncube.com).
