CONCERNS surrounding "antisocial beggers" has led to an increase in police patrols.
More proactive patrols will be taking place across Great Malvern after reports of antisocial beggers from businesses.
Malvern Police said they advise residents to donate to recognised homeless charities that can provide the appropriate support and assistance to those in need rather than giving money to people directly on the street.
Paul Slaymaker, police constable, said: "Police are proactively looking to address concerns around antisocial beggars in Great Malvern following recent reports from local businesses in the area.
"We would advise anyone with any concerns to either ring 101 or report online via our website.
"We would always advise members of the public to donate to recognised homeless charities who can provide the appropriate support and assistance to those in need, rather than giving money out to people directly on the street."
