Several people were treated by paramedics following a crash near Upton.

The B4211 was closed for several hours near Longdon Heath following the crash yesterday afternoon (Friday, June 30).

“Police were called to a report of five to six patients at a road traffic collision on the B4211 involving several vehicles near Longdon Heath, where the road was blocked,” said a spokesperson for West Mercia Police.

“Multiple police units attended the scene where ambulances were also in attendance.

“The road was completely blocked by two cars that were involved in a collision near the junction to the industrial estate.

“There were several persons from the vehicles who received medical treatment from paramedics, but there were no serious injuries.

“The road was closed for several hours whilst the incident was being dealt with and the road was cleared. 

“Police would like to thank motorists for their cooperation and patience during the road closure.”
