It marks the longest day of the year and if you’re looking for somewhere to watch the sun rise and set, you won’t have far to go.

Holiday park operator Verdant Leisure has listed 10 of the best places to see the sun rise and set.

It has analysed Tripadvisor reviews, weather reports, social figures and distance from car parks to reveal the 10 best places that offer the best views of the sun, at the start and end of each day.

What did Verdant Leisure have to say about Malvern Hills?

Verdant Leisure praised Malvern Hills as a top 10 spot for seeing the sunrise, ranking it in 7th place.

It said: “At an astounding height of 1,394ft, the Malvern Hills portray the perfect sunrise setting for you to enjoy.

“The Worcestershire Beacon, which is the hills’ highest point, offers striking scenery across both Herefordshire and Worcestershire, which are known for being extremely rich in greenery.

“Officially recognised as an area of natural beauty, this location is a must-visit for nature and wildlife lovers, which is evident from its 5-star rating, and over 1,000 reviews on TripAdvisor.”
