A vigil for Ukraine held at Belle Vue Island last year
A VIGIL to commemorate a year since the start of the Ukraine war is taking place in Malvern on Friday (February 24).
The event has been organised by two Ukrainian colleagues at Malvern Hills District Council.
It will start at 5.15pm in Priory Park and last for an hour. People are welcome to bring flags, banners and drawings with them.
Organisers are also encouraging people to bring small stones, so they can be painted together then left around town for others to find.
