THE film Brick Lane opens at Malvern Cinema on January 4. The film tells the story of beautiful Bangladeshi woman Nazneen who arrives in 1980s London. She has left behind her beloved sister, her home and her country for an arranged marriage and a new life. Trapped in a flat in East London and in a loveless marriage she feels her soul is dying. Struggling to accept her lot she finds her life transformed one day when a hot headed young man called Karim comes knocking at her door.
The film is rated 15 and is showing daily until January 10 at 7.45pm with Saturday, Sunday and Thursday matinees at 4.30pm.
