THE love that binds mother and daughter is the subject of the film Evening starring Claire Danes, Meryl Streep, Vanessa Redgrave and Toni Collette.
Evening is based on the popular novel by Susan Minot and has been adapted by the author herself aided by the Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cunningham.
The film reveals what happens when Ann Lord tells her two daughters a long-kept secret about a man she loved and who changed her life. The film is at Malvern Cinema from October 19-25 and showings are at 7.45pm.
