A MALVERN-based golf club is hosting a fundraising event for St Richard's Hospice for the second year running.
The fundraising golf day is at the Worcestershire Golf Club, Malvern Wells, on Friday, April 28.
Rachel Jones, the hospice's fundraising manager, said; “We would like to invite local golf enthusiasts and businesses to bring teams along for a great day of golf and networking. As an added extra, we will be offering prizes for the first three teams, the longest drive and nearest the pin. Come rain or shine, we are all set for a fabulous event.”
The event is sponsored by Santander for the second year running.
Tickets are £300 for a team of four, and includes a bacon roll with tea or coffee on arrival, an 18-hole round, with tee-off times from 11am, a two-course dinner with prize-giving, raffle and charity auction.
Last year's event had 18 teams taking part and raised just over £6,000 profit for the hospice.
St Richard’s Hospice provides free specialist palliative care for patients living with life-limiting illnesses and supports their loved ones. Each year the hospice team supports over 2,500 patients and family members in Worcestershire.
The hospice strives to provide the best medical, practical, emotional and social support we can to help people live life to the fullest, as independently as they can, for as long as they can.
St Richard’s is an independent charity and is grateful for all donations to help it continue its work. Find out more at strichards.org.uk.
