THREE sixth form students from The Chase School in Malvern have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge this year.
Ben Gutteridge will read Engineering at Oxford, Megan Pickford will read English at Cambridge, and Chris Wright has been offered a place studying mathematics at Oxford.
Students from the school have made a further120 university applications with pupils being offered places studying on medicine, veterinary science, law, accounting, maths, natural sciences and nursing courses.
Richard Williams, head of sixth form, said: "These students have demonstrated their exceptional talents for many years, with outstanding GCSE and AS results, well prepared applications and ultimately successful interviews.
"Their achievements do not happen with natural talent alone and they personify the ethos of hard work and aspirational target setting that has been a hallmark of The Chase sixth form for many years.’
Mr Williams added: "No offer is ever a forgone conclusion but we are confident that The Chase students demonstrate such a positive mind-set and work ethic that they will give everything they have in order to achieve the best results they can."
