A TEAM of volunteers from Malvern picked up twenty bags of litter when they staged a litter pick on Sunday as part of Keep Britain Tidy's Spring Clean campaign.

The team, organised by Malvern Hills Conservators, also picked up 120 bottles during their three-hour stint on the community woodland bordering Townsend Way in the Link.

Beck Baker of the Conservators said: "A huge thank-you to our seven volunteers who braved the forecast and joined us on our annual litter pick.

"We were lucky with the weather, with one short sharp shower, and were able to make a real difference to this local woodland."
