ONE of the nation’s biggest vintage tractor events is returning to the Three Counties Showground in Malvern in February.

A roaring success for the last 15 years, this year’s Spring Tractor World Show is the first major vintage show of the season and a long-awaited event for both tractor fans and family visitors alike.

Transformed into a vintage tractor fan’s utopia for two full days, the showground will be playing host to over 500 tractors and machinery exhibits including classic commercials and vans, Land Rovers, horticultural and garden exhibits, stationary engines, model displays and miniature steamers.

Spread out over four exhibition halls plus outdoors, the event runs from 9am until 5pm on Saturday and 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday, February 25 and 26.

On Saturday, Ledbury-based when H J Pugh and Co will be hosting the vintage auction, with over 2,000 items and over 100 tractors expected to be sold.

The Sunday includes a classic commercial and van drive in display, a classic truck show, the annual vintage sort-out-and-spares day, plus the charity tractor road run into the Malvern Hills.

Organiser Mark Woodward said: “The show is a great chance for tractor fans, old and young, to enjoy a rare opportunity to see many makes and models. Although we are now the largest trade gathering for spares and parts, it’s a family day out with lots for our younger visitors to enjoy too."

Admission is £12.50 at the gate or £10 in advance. A weekend pass is £20 at the gate or £15 in advance, and camping is £50 in advance or £60 at the show.
