CIGARETTES were taken from a local shop after a window was smashed to gain entry.
The Co-Op on Worcester Road was entered between 2.20am and 2.32am this morning.
Offenders smashed a side window in the main foyer of the shop and a panel to gain entrance to the shop.
They then entered the cigarette cabinet and removed stock from within.
The thieves then used buckets from the plant display by the front door to carry them out in.
The Co-Op did not comment on the burglary.
