THE Malvern branch of the TSB has handed over a cheque for £125 to help families in the area facing financial hardship.

The money has gone to Great Malvern Relief in Need as part of the bank's programme to help local causes that bring the community together.

The cause was chosen by TSB employees working in the Malvern branch, located in Church Street,.

Lucy Bailey, manager of the branch, said: “We chose to donate this money to Great Malvern Relief in Need because of the important work they do to help the families struggling with financial hardship.”

Rev John Barr, a trustee of Great Malvern Relief in Need, said: “It’s great to see a large national company giving their employees the opportunity to support a local cause. The money they’ve donated will really make a difference to us and to the community here in Malvern.”
