EVERY year we hold our All Souls service, giving us all an opportunity to celebrate and remember the lives of those we have loved and lost. Canon Goddard will preside over a simple, contemplative and healing service on Sunday 6th November at 4.00 p.m. You can have the names of loved ones read out and light a candle in their memory. It is a very moving sight to see all the candles lit together as we quietly remember. Afterwards, in our Church Café, there is the opportunity to chat and have home-made cake, tea or coffee and our Memorial Book will be on show. So, if you dedicated a tile, (now safely on our roof), if you have connections with Christ Church or not, it doesn’t matter, come along and join us - The Tile To Remember Memorial Book will also be available. We will hold our usual Book Fair each Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, with much more than just books and a reminder that on Saturday 5th November, in conjunction with the Book Fair, we also invite you to bring family and friends for a fun morning filling your shoe boxes ready to be sent. The boxes may be dropped off at the Church each Wednesday in November, as well as each Saturday at our Book Fairs and on Friday at our Coffee Shop which is held in Christ Church Hall, at the rear of the Church where you can also enjoy a coffee. Join us at our Sunday Services each week at 11.00 a.m. Please see our web site www.christchurch-malvern.org for all our events and services.
