A MAN says he was threatened by two men with a nail gun in Bromsgrove.

A 32-year-old man was driving his BMW along a stretch of the A38 close to Stoke Road and Charford Road shortly before 6.30pm on Friday, September 30.

As he stopped at the traffic light junction with New Road, two men got out of a white Vauxhall Corsa van and one of the men fetched an item - believed to be a nail gun - from the back of the van.

The pair approached the man - reportedly threatening the victim and pointing it at him.

They then returned to their van, turned left and headed towards the town centre.

The victim was uninjured but left extremely shaken up by the incident.

The first man - understood to be the driver - is described as being around 25 years old, of stocky build, approximately 5ft 11in tall with short, ginger hair.

He was wearing a light grey t-shirt and a high-visibility vest with the word Interserve in blue lettering.

The second man - thought to be the same age, of thin build, around 6ft tall, with dark blonde, short hair - was wearing a dark coloured waterproof-style jacket, dark blue jeans, and white trainers.

The stretch of road is known to be very busy at this time of night and officers are keen for any witnesses that saw what happened to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 690S of September 30.
