A MAN's "pride and joy" bike was stolen from a secure garage in Upper Howsell Road.
The thief removed the wall bracket which was holding the Giant Trance SX to the wall of a garage in a secure car park on Upper Howsell Road last night (Wednesday) between 10.30pm and 7am.
Ollie Spires said: "It is my absolute pride and joy, and the result of a lot of hard work on my part, and I was absolutely gutted to find someone had felt it was their right to take it.
"It still had the large chain around the front wheel and frame when it was taken and the bracket was taken with it."
The bike differs from the picture with a blue and white worn out giant saddle and silver rings on the end of the grips.
It has a small front mudguard and Shimano pedals, and a deep stone chip on the underside of the down tube.
Anyone with information should call police on the non-emergency number 101.
