POLICE are warning about a scam involving an alleged Chinese banking facility.
The Bredon Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator has reported the scam letters
from Ping An Bank in China to West Mercia Police.
The co-ordinator said: "Please be aware that in the past week residents have received letters from an alleged Chinese banking facility requesting personal details and indicating the recipient of the letter was the beneficiary of a deceased person who has died in testate."
Those who receive letters of a similar nature are urged not to reveal any personal information and bring the matter to the attention of Action Fraud www.actionfraud.police.uk/
