A FINE-dining restaurant and delicatessen in Pershore is offering local people the chance to treat their guests to a top notch meal at home without heating a saucepan or using a chopping knife.

People can pop along to the Belle House in Bridge Street and take out a delicious meal prepared by the Michelin-trained chefs on the premises.

The establishment has been offering its Kitchen to Table service for a while but is it not widely known and it is being officially launched this month.

The service means customers can buy top quality dishes using the best ingredients which are made from scratch in the restaurant kitchen. It might be something as simple as a chef-made stock, a starter for six or the pudding for a family party.

Steve Waites, head chef and proprietor who has run Belle House for 12 years, said: “If you're time-stretched but still crave fresh cooking made from scratch - why not get exactly what you'd like without the hassle?

“Belle House Kitchen to Table will provide everything whether it's a mid-week supper, some canapes or three courses.”

The service can also include garnishes, table linen, crockery, glassware or cutlery if needed meaning people can sit back and enjoy their meal without having to worry whether they have enough knives or plates.

Customers can bring in their own dishes to be filled with such tasty treats as Scotch beef bourguignon, lamb tagine, fish pie and macaroni cheese.

For a more formal dinner party people can pre-order fine dining restaurant courses, which come with simple cooking instructions and garnishes for attractive presentation. The customer just has to heat and serve.

All the food is made from scratch and is free from preservatives and additives. Steve added: “Our red meat and chicken are all British sourced and we are members of the Scotch Beef Club.

“Most of our vegetables also come from local growers although we sometimes need to look further afield if things are out of season.

“We can also adapt dishes for any specific individual dietary requirements. Belle House offers a delivery service for all of our food and we can also hire out items such as crockery, cutlery, glassware and table linen.”

Belle House is the town’s former fire station which was converted into an 80-seater restaurant with private dining and a delicatessen known as Belle House Traiter, which opened seven years ago. The business also offers an event catering service for weddings, parties and other occasions.
