MALVERN mayor Julian I'Anson is inviting quiz buffs to pit their wits against each other in a charity quiz night.
The event, on Thursday, February 25, is being held in aid of Childline at the Mount Pleasant Hotel, Belle Vue Terrace.
The last quiz night, in October, saw six teams vying for a lavish prize hamper, raising more than £100 in the process
Featuring specialist rounds focusing on Malvern, Star Wars, and the recent celebration of Chinese New Year, as well as a bonus blind beer-tasting round, the quiz night will put your knowledge to the test.
The entry fee is £25 for a team of three to five people, which will be donated directly to Childline. A curry (meat or vegetarian) with rice and salad can be ordered at £4.95 per person.
To register your team and book your food, contact Malvern Town Council on 01684 566 667, or email eadbrown@malvern-tc.org.uk. Please ensure that you have booked your food by 4pm on Monday February 22. Payment for food and entry fees can be made by cash or cheque payable to Malvern Town Council.
