FLOOD warnings been issued by for Kempsey and parts of Upton.
The Environment Agency published the flood alerts on Monday afternoon (December 14), after gauges recorded rising levels on the River Severn.
In Kempsey the yacht gauge was 4.64m and rising at 1.45pm and a peak level of between 5.4m and 5.85m is predicted to occur overnight on Wednesday (December 16).
Meanwhile in Upton flood warnings are in force for New Street and low-lying land and roads could be affected, including vehicle access to Dunn’s Lane.
