A DRINK-driver has been caught on the school run as police step up their campaign to stop drink and drug driving.
A 37-year-old woman from Malvern was arrested on suspicion of drink driving at 3.20pm yesterday, the first day of South Worcestershire Cops drink and drug drive campaign.
The arrest came after a Ford Fiesta was stopped on Upper Howsell Road in Malvern by local patrol officers.
A positive test of 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath was taken from the driver (the limit is 35mcg).
The driver has since been charged and will appear before Worcester Magistrates on December 18.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "She will be walking to school for a while."
