TWO crews from Malvern Hills District Council will compete at Upton Rowing Club's summer regatta.
Eight council employees, including chief executive Chris Bocock, will take to the River Severn during the club's fun Pubs, Clubs and Firms event on Sunday, June 3.
Club chairman Angus McLeod said none of the nine crews registered for the event had rowed or raced before. "The pressure is on to learn the basics, work together as a team, and enjoy the thrill of racing on our river," he said.
