With an ever increasing number of HGV drivers who cannot, or will not, read is it not high time that the blue Unsuitable for Long Vehicles' signs at either end of the Cowleigh Road were replaced by the red circle with a 4.5 tonne limit applied prohibiting such traffic - except maybe for access.
The former are advisory, the latter mandatory, enabling prosecutions to be brought against those who ignore them.
