MALVERN Hills residents have the chance to question the district council's leader and chief executive as part of Local Democracy Week.
From now until 5pm on Friday, October 16, residents, groups and organisations can send in questions they want answered on any part of the council’s work.
They will then be put to leader Phil Grove and chief executive Jack Hegartyk, whose answers will then be published online as a video blog.
The question and answer session has been set-up to celebrate Local Democracy Week which runs Monday-Sunday, October 12-18.
Questions can be sent in by tweeting @MHDCcomms, emailing claire.vaughan@malvernhills.gov.uk or in writing to Claire Vaughan, Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, WR14 3AF.
Cllr Grove said: “Accountability is a really important part of local democracy and we should be making it easier for people to find out how we spend their money and about the decisions we make. I’m hoping as many people as possible will take the opportunity to get involved and ask a question.”
