HEALTH workers are being invited to a hospital recruitment event in Worcestershire.
Registered nurses, advanced nurse practitioners, midwives and current and aspiring healthcare support workers are invited.
The free event, taking place from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, October 3 in the Education Centre at the Alexandra Hospital, will showcase opportunities available at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust’s three sites – Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.
As well as information stands giving information and advice on opportunities within medicine, surgery, women’s and children’s services, theatres, outpatients and clinical support roles, there will be HR advisors available to give free one to one help and support on applying for vacancies.
There will also be the opportunity for those applying for band 5 staff nurse posts to be interviewed at the event, with successful applicants receiving conditional offers on the same day. To be interviewed on the day, applicants must submit an application on NHS Jobs using the job reference 365-WAHNT1519.
Lisa Miruszenko, deputy chief nurse at the trust, said: “Whether you are working for another trust and looking for a change; thinking of coming back to the profession; or wondering about embarking on a caring role within nursing, this is the event for you."
Visitors are free to drop in at a time convenient to them.
